Il Ravenna returns from Piacenza with just one point, after a match in which they deserved a bit more. The 0-0 result at Garilli leaves some regret for the yellow-reds, who dominated the second half but were stopped by an outstanding Franzini and a questionable incident at the end.

The first half struggles to take off, with few noteworthy chances. Piacenza is the first to threaten Fresia’s goal with a header from Ruiz Giraldo following a cross from Palma, but it misses the target. Ravenna responds with a nice volley from Lo Bosco that goes over the crossbar. The home team tries again with Recino, whose speedy run ends with a shot that goes off target. Piacenza tries to respond on the counterattack with D’Agostino, whose diagonal shot goes wide. From that moment on, it’s a one-sided affair in favor of Ravenna: Biagi shoots high from a good position, Di Renzo breaks through with speed and shoots, forcing a save from Franzini, then Milan and Guida also try their luck, but the Emilia goalkeeper remains vigilant.

In the end, Franzini confirms himself as the best player on the field with a magnificent save on D’Orsi’s close-range header. In the 90th minute, a controversial incident occurs: Guida enters the area and is challenged by Andreoli, but referee Lotito, positioned just a few steps away, allows play to continue amid the protests from the Roma players.

With this draw, Ravenna extends its positive streak, but must continue to chase Forlì, which remains victorious and is now +2 in the standings. The race for the top spot is still wide open.
